Hi all

Got a problem with the M10 magazine...Very little tension on the magazine platform and on closer inspection it looks like the spring / rod mechanism inside has come away from the platform.
Before I go any further has anyone dismantled this magazine.?.I presume I start off by lifting the two 'T' shaped retaining clips on either side of the magazine ?
Appreciate any help & advice
Thanks.........

Could you post some pics of exactly what you're looking at? I had an issue where the lips weren't bearing on the cartridges enough. I disassembled the rifle and it turns out the vertical "T" shaped clips were simply not riding in their grooves properly. One had popped out. I popped it back in and voila!

I'll post up a few pics later..Looks like I need to remove these vertical 'T' retainers in order to get the platform and internal spring / lever assembly out. I can definately see the spring and rod (which goes inside the spring) loose in the bottom of the mag...

Just pry the spring clips out at the bottom and then pull them up and off.
That is where the fun begins as you will have the remove the rivets to get the mag apart.
You can source replacements at a fastener outlet such as Ottawa fastener or equivalent.
Take your time and go slow and they can be repaired if not broken up inside,
Best of luck

Thanks for that....Yep, kinda figured side clips first (need three hands for that...lol) and we'll see where that leads....Its been sitting on my desk for a few days while I 'think about it a bit more'..:)
