Last month one sold for $1500 for a unaltered MkIII with a non pinned bolt, mint bore in vg+ to exe condition.
No bayonet lug and wood has definitely been shortened. I hadn't looked at this rifle in probably 15 years.
My opinion for what it is worth is a couple hundred as a sporter.

on the EE?
Is the barrel a full 30 1/2 inches long?
How is the bore?
Sad to see the forend is cut down and no nose cap.
on the EE?
yes, it was.
The earlier photo is measured from the end of the barrel. Barrel is closer to 25".
I will have to check the bore.
I'd say you could flip this for $300 -$350 in a matter of hours on the EE. You could also part it out for about that much money or more. Rear sight with base $100+, top wood $150, middle band $50, stock $100+.
Has the stock's shape been altered through the wrist? If it is still in its original profile I would value the stock and handguard at $175 themselves. I'm doing a dovetail splice for restoring foreends now that is much stronger and still an invisible splice. At $175 there's still some room to pay for my time to do the work.
