Agreed - better to ask in milsurp. They're hard to find, and you may get burned on your first one, or miss the first good one you see.

You may also find yourself poorer after discovering how much fun they are...

Firstly, a Ross will never qualify as an antique...period! Secondly, I'll take all of the unaltered military Ross rifles I can get for $500.00! Lately they have been in the $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 category. Collectors are just beginning to catch on to the Ross rifle. Cut down or Bubba'd models are pretty much worthless unless for parts as replacement military stocks and bands and nose caps don't exist like they do for the Lee Enfields.

Ross

Either side of a grand for a decent MKIII these days. A decent but sanded stock MKIII was at Duncan,BC. show on the weekend for $1,000 with ground down bayonet and a nice sling.

I bought a 1905 Ross with full wood and very good bore one year ago for $600. They usually go for a higher price. Yes, they are fun to shoot and quite accurate.

well what i really want is to get a intact mil surp one i'm wlling to pay a good price so i hope it won't be to hard my does talk

I was on jerzeedevil a US forum mostly for modern knives but with a small gun section and some guy in the US bought a full wood Ross M10 for 350$US at a gun show. He then turned around and traded it for a S&W .44 mag but at least they are still out there. One reason it sold for so cheap is most people in the US think they are going to blow up the first time they fire them. As much as I love the Ross I don't have one yet and think I will keep quiet to my US pals until after they find me one for 350$

Never did find one yet still gonna keep looking but im not holding my breath maybe i will put a want to buy on the milsurp.
