The safety is really easy to delete. If I remember correctly it’s just tapping out a roll pin and the 2 pieces come right out the top. It just leaves you with a. Hole in the top of the bolt you need to plug. I filed down a spent 22 hornet casing and glued it into the hole on all my Rossis with top bolt safeties. I carefully punched the dent out of the spent primer and reinstalled it in the case, filed the head stamp off and trimmed the brass. I used clear epoxy (sparingly) and tapped them in with a plastic hammer. Lightly polished and they look great. My 454 is pre safety but I did it on my 357, 44 and 45 (Ranch Hand) and they’ve all held up to the recoil just fine.
The alternative of never using it at all comes with much less effort
