I was pissed right off after handling one of these in the states to find they're restricted here. The argument you could swap on pistol grips and have a pistol makes no sense as I could cut off the stock and cut down the barrel on a hunting rifle just as easily. One of those would make a sweet little woods rifle (okay admittedly I've always thought they were a cool design after seeing their ancestors at civil war reenactments).
I agree, kind of like a lot of Contender are registerd as handgun even if you put a long barrel and rifle stock on it. They're saying it was always a revolver that a rifle stock was attached to as opposed to a shotgun that was always a shotgun even if you attach a pistol grip to it.
