Ditto for me. I love my 16" .357 but want better hunting punch. The .454 Casull is great camp bear medicine.
Roger that, we'll get some rifle in .454 Casull ASAP!

a friend of mine has been drooling over my rifle in 454 casull for a long while now , and not able to find one to buy for themselves ..... if possible stainless in a 16 or 20 inch barrel

I have seen a grand total of two 454 Casull lever guns for sale in 10 years. If I owned a gun store, I would ask for half of every order to be 454's. It is a truly effective do-it-all hunting round.

I have seen plenty and owned a few pre-CBC 92s in .454. The stainless was always hard to find though. The used market presented ridiculous prices and I don't buy used guns so it's left me without the specific gun I want.

They still move like crazy, it's an incredibly versatile gun for those inclined towards lever actions. Some of the top-end loads produce 2400+ ft/lbs of energy and velocity upwards of 1900fps for typical bullet weights. I expect my 240grn XTP-MAG load to do 2200fps.

EXACTLY. I dont feel undergunned with my 16" .357mag with my stiff loads, but I have wanted more than "just enough" oomph for a good while now. I cant wait to see a 454 for sale at a sensible price.
