Bullseye said they still haven't got a update.
Ramakko's - $490Where did you get yours?
I'm still waiting on a pre order from Bullseye..
Interested on your thoughts once you've got it.Looks like I was issued another Transfer notice from Bulleyes and got a shipping notice. So Looks like Bulleyes North finally got them in.
I'll try. I was told I have 3 weeks to vacate my house. So I'm currently in the process of moving, and relocating into a rental. When you got 2 large dogs. You gotta take what you can get. That's an hour away from my gun club.Interested on your thoughts once you've got it.
JHC man, you have the patience of a saint to wait that long! Best of luck with the move and can't wait to hear how the rifle performs. I nearly bought one, but wasn't sure if the twist rate would fit my needs.I'll try. I was told I have 3 weeks to vacate my house. Last Pre order I'll do though. I bought this gun June 12 2024.
Thanks. I forgot about it for a bit. Guess I'll get it Monday.JHC man, you have the patience of a saint to wait that long! Best of luck with the move and can't wait to hear how the rifle performs. I nearly bought one, but wasn't sure if the twist rate would fit my needs.
Yeah, something like 1 in 30, and I'm sure that's fine for the majority of guys who would buy one using available ammo or even those who reload. I doubt Rossi designers thought "Hey, maybe we should speed the twist rate up for that 1 in 5000 saskgunowner guy who would ream it out to 357 Max and use heavy for caliber bullets"Thanks. I forgot about it for a bit. Guess I'll get it Monday.
What are they like 1-30? So guess gotta stick under 158s?
It is probably going to be more accurate than trying to shoot 38 spl from a 357 Max chamber.
I'll probably mount a 1.5-5x LPVO.
It does have a transfer bar safety. I just tested it with a fired case and piece of tape over the back. Fired it as if you were gently pulling the trigger, and the tape was pierced.Looks pretty good.
They say it has a transfer bar safety, is it like the H&R where you have to almost yank the trigger to have the firing pin struck?
Maybe it's like other single shot break actions, remove the 2? screws holding the buttpad on, and should be some long bolt inside there. Unless I'm misunderstanding here.Im not sure how the stock is secured, but it is off to one side a little.
Thanks, there was. Nothing in the parts diagram, that there was a stock bolt. Just was busy to check.Maybe it's like other single shot break actions, remove the 2? screws holding the buttpad on, and should be some long bolt inside there. Unless I'm misunderstanding here.
I would have been saying something about how long it took to actually get. Reason I hate preorders, store has no actual idea when they can get them in. Now if you can just make the time to get to the range and see how it shoots. For the money it does seem like a decent deal.Reason for buying one. Barrel for my TC Contender was 630$ plus 15% tax and shipping. So close to 700$. Then i'd need to buy a stock set. As my frame is registered pistol. H&R Handi in 357 was over 700 if you found one, Traditions you never could find one.
So for 506$ shipped, was a better deal.
