I have a Rossi .357 that needed some work on the stock. It came from the factory with terrible workmanship. A good friend is a Master Craftsman with exotic woods and builds custom Arts and Crafts furniture with exacting standards. He used Wooly Mammoth ivory tusk and Ebony to highly improve the appearance of this gun. My wife got some peep sights from Texas and the all the springs and follower have been replaced. The finish on the stock, after lots of fine sanding, was refinished to have a nice aged appearance. New but old so to speak. Here are some pics.

Thanks for saying so meatgrinder. Im happy with it. Best part is how much fun it is to shoot. Being .357 my 13 year old can use it and not get punished by a heavy kick. Great gun and now it looks nice too.

I just picked up a 44 mag hoping my daughter might want to shoot it when she gets a little bigger. I'm sure your son will have a blast and cherish it when he gets older. Beauty to learn on. First centerfire I shot was a 308 and a 357 would have been nice that day.
