It'd make a great companion gun as well for hunters. You have to put a rifle down while you gut an animal, and if you're dragging it out at all you're very vunerable and a rifle is cumbersome. Plus, with shotshells you can still fetch a grouse with it :) ( hey - 12 inch barrel, it's legal :) )
 
Yikes.

Hopefully the price can be much lower than that. The Puma version is in that ball park and the Rossi retails for half the price of the Puma...

My fingers are crossed that this will be more like $800...

Forget the Puma way to pricey for the average nut and others are selling them as we type.... If you are the first guy in Canada to get the Rossi Ranchhand's in .44mag, .357 and 45 colt you will not have a problem getting them out the door for around $500.00

Out the door? Are you kidding? the problem would be getting them in the shop before people ran off with them all in the first place :D i"d be in for one.

I'd bet that if you had 100, 80 would be gone before the first month passed and the rest wouldn't last long. Especially if people could pre-order.
 
I gotta ask, in several posts it kinda sounded like a 460 S&W chambering may become available. Is this a possibility?
