Please help me understand how a firearm with a total length under 26 inches is non-restricted.

I'm looking to buy the 44 caliber version.

What does this implication mean for those who want .44 MAg? Are the .44's enroute in Nov as per previous, or is this our best/only bet on these? I have zero interest in a .45LC other than for the rifle itself, and only really want one in .44Mag. But if .44 aint available...might have to consider my options.

Chiappa has no date for the .44's which is poor form really. I think we have a better chance getting the Ranch Hand in .44 in Oct/Nov ish. I should have some better info on the RH next week. Cross your fingers...

Same here.
357 or 44 would be good. And I probably get both if you get them.
I prefer these over 45 because of ammo choice.

Im really looking forward to this as a backup in bow hunting season !

So.....Rossi Ranch Hand will be in!!!! When??? I dont know, Price? I dont know, Calibers? I dont know.... My distributor has confirmed they will be in but will not confirm anything else because they cant get any of this info themselves from the main manufacturer. I can't explain it, they can't explain it.... It is what it is I guess....

I am the first to be called when they arrive however, and I will surely provide updates as any info starts to roll in...

Rossi Ranch Hand not available until 2011

A lot of people where excited when Rossi unveiled the Rossi Ranch Hand pistol and I get emails regularly asking if I know when it will be available. Michael, a reader of TFB, emailed me to say that he spoke to the company and was told that they are not putting the gun into production till December 2010 and will not be shipping it until April/May 2011.

Got verbal confirmation that they will be in production September/October and American delivery in October. There is a Canadian delivery set for November but no guarantee Ranch Hands will be on there. It's a wait and see thing.....
