Rossi r92 44 mag scout scope setup

Hello all, just thought I'd share my rossi 92 in 44 mag with the 16 inch barrel that I set up with a burris 2.75x scout scope.
I used a weaver 92a mount that required some fitting with a file and sandpaper wrapped around a pool cue, I then jb welded it down as well as the mounting screws( I had to run a 6-48 bottom tap in the factory holes as rossi only cut about 2 or 3 threads)
The scope mounted nice and low in weaver low rings and you just barely have to raise your cheek on the stock.
Looking forward to hunting with it this fall, I had good sucess with my cva scout 44mag last year on whitetail

A micro red dot or the new Primary Arms SLX 1x MicroPrism T would be sweet for a lighter rig!

I bought the factory rail with the built in williams peep last year from a shop out east as one of my Rossi's is the newer style that's drilled and tapped. Haven't mounted it yet but you've got me thinking about it....
