Hello

Bought rossi ranch hand last year shoot rarely and began to experienced feeding problems, does somebody else? Would like to ask for advices for this annoying matter. Gun is almost new, shoot only 100 rds and the troubles started!?
Thank you Folks.

Try posting in the hunting/sporting arms section ( this is sporting shotgun) there is a fair amount of help. Rossi's are bad for feeding issues i still have a '92 in 44 mag that i'm trying to sort out enough and hopefully sell off and buy a henry or chiappa
Good luck

I must be lucky, my Ranchhand feeds various factory offering and handloads quite well.
I recall this topic coming up previously and it was put forth that it's a production changeover thing. As in prior to this date is problematic, after isn't.
I did do a little careful polishing on the locking bars ( term?) to make it cycle smoother, but I'm thinking this wouldn't affect feeding.
Good luck with it; tagged for interest though

Mine was full of burrs and I spent close to an hour filing parts. The loading gate was on an angle allowing bullets to slide too far back and jam the mechanism. Took some filing and be ring to get right. I wouldn't buy it again, but now that I have it fixe up its ok. I have he Chiappa 357 and its 10 times better finish
