I just need the tiny screw for the barrel band that's closest to the front sight, mine split at the head. Anyone know where to find it? I have emailed the "Rossi warranty service provider" here in Canada, a place in Quebec called snapshots or something... But after two weeks and no response as to if they will order the part for me I am sick of waiting, some any help or suggestions would be great!!

Ironman,

I tried to see who may have those parts. Freedom Ventures in Nova Scotia claims to be a Canadian distributor for Rossi.
Unfortunately with Rossi, their parts are very difficult to come by, even in the US.
You could also try Rusty Wood in Mission, BC.

I don't know why all the gun companies in Canada do their warranty stuff through companies in Quebec who don't really seem to care much about customer service.
It sucks having one tiny little part to need because sadly so much stuff comes in sets or is hard to order just that.

I have one more option for you, PM inbound.

I'd like to see entire screw kit's for the rossi's availlable. Lever action screws can work loose if you are not attentive.
Why order one little screw for $10 or what ever when Rossi can or should put together screw kits for next to nothing.

It's also sad that Snapshot does not get a basic kit of parts for these guns that they can use to service Canadians and then they can replace their stock as they need instead of making customers wait for ever just to maybe get a screw?

OP let me know if you figure something out.... I bought a ranchhand brand new from Whanstals even though I noticed the front band screw was broken in the store ( I could spin it with my fingernail) Gary couldn't help me with it even though it is obviously a warranty issue if it's broken in the store.

I contacted Snaperheads and after a dozen emails trying to explain to them which screw I needed ( they finally got it) they said they didn't know how long it would take.... I gave up but I think I will contact them again since it's been a few years now and at the time they had just taken over the Rossi contract.

Who knows... maybe they have parts now. But somehow I doubt it.

They are made to have them located mostly in QB so the Antis can keep close tabs on them and keep them out of the pro firearm provinces.

I would look at finding someone that can hand make the part...

Stevesgunz would be a good guy to ask as well...... I just sent him an email.
I'll post the results.

I've been in touch with rusty wood, couldn't help me besides a spring kits and sights etc. Was hoping to keep it inside Canada, but snapshots isn't responding so gonna try Stevesguns. They seem to have a good rep on the web.

Sadly we got dealers and distributors selling these guns with apparently no warranty . Rossi IMHO is only a viable option in the USA . You can send your warranty card in to Rossi USA with your Canadian purchase but it is worthless. The value of this brand is sinking in Canada and I know of several smiths who decline to work on them due to costly repairs with machining parts and irate customers.
I think best to stay away from this brand until the Distributors here in Canada back up their product.
