Rossi Ranch Hand Saddle Ring removal. Help Needed. Before I strip everything apart does anyone know the proper procedure to remove the Saddle Ring of a Rossi Ranch Hand. Thx for looking...rigrat

I just live with mine by wrapping the ring with 1/4" strips of hockey tape. (Canadian solution eh.)
No noise or scuffs to stock or receiver & looks good to boot.

Bolt cutter should do the trick.

One end should just unscrew?

I tried bending and such,steel to strong. Finally I put it in a vise and hack sawed it off. Good riddance.

I can't remember what I used, either used vice grips or I put a large pair of needle nose pliers through the ring till it was tight and then used the handles to open the pliers and slip the ring off. I leave the U shaped part on the gun and put a loop of paracord through it so I can still use it as a sling loop.

Hey Shell shucker have you shot that gun yet with the new sights? Maybe you told me already but I'm curious about the front sight height?
