I have been eyeing the Rossi Single shot that Frontier Firearms stocks (not the heavy barrel one). I am thinking/hoping that this would be a good, light bush gun. Does anyone have any exp. with these? I've noticed on the net that there is ALOT of NEF vs. Rossi for who has the better "handi-rifle" but when it all comes down it they seem to be about 90% the same. The price if anyone is wondering is $295.95

On a side note...I know there is better guns out there but I am interested in this one and this one alone...just wanting to make sure its soild and can shoot accurately enough to be fun and worth while...so as long as its not worse then 3-4MOA I think I'd be happy.

Thanks, UTAF

The neighbor had one of those 3in1 deals and the 243 would OPEN when fired. It went back to the store and they said they were have quite a time with Rossi on another gun, but exchanged ti for something else immediately.
What draws you to this one?

Ive been looking at the 12 guage offering for this Deer Season but have trouble finding much info, or reviews about it! It has fiber optic sights which are nice, and it is tapped and includes a rail and some cheap porting which gives it a little bit of an edge over the H&R.

I just picked up an old H&R #58 Topper 30/30 with a 20 guage extra barrel for $200 at the gunshow ,haven't shot it yet but it locks up tight, refinished the stock and it looks like new.I'd like on in 22 hornet,if I could find one...

My biggest problem with them is for not much more money you can get into a Stevens 200, which will almost definitely be more accurate out-of-the-box and great to beat on.

The price, its simple so it shouldn`t have issues...hopfully and has irons so its good to go

I've seen guys shoot the rossi at the club. My 00 buck patterns tighter at 50 yards altho that could be the shooter I don't no I didn't ask to shoot it. I here the HnRs are fairly accurate for hunting so I think theyed be ok just a lot for a no frills. Single but I'd give it a go
