Rotors for Hornady LnL powder measure for pistol cartridge

I was looking at the Hornady catalogue and I see that there is a pistol rotor that works with the standard metering insert and a micrometer pistol metering insert. I want to load 9mm, 45ACP, 38 Special, and 357 mgnum. The catalogue says that the standard metering unit works from 5 grains and up, but the 9mm is 4-4.5 grains.

What are you using out there in CGN land? Have you swapped out the standard rotor for the pistol rotor and use the standard meter, or are you using the micrometer pistol metering unit?

When I purchased my LNL AP, it came with a rifle rotor and a pistol rotor. For 9mm I use the pistol rotor with the pistol micrometer. It works very well.
There is a standard meter for the standard rotor (Rifle) and a pistol meter for the pistol rotor. They are not interchangeable.
I highly recommend getting the micrometer meter for each rotor.

A few years back the press used to come with 'rifle' rotor and measuring insert only.
As it was mentioned above, they now come with both and a couple more extra bits.

I bought one for pistol as my press didn't come with it back then. My load for 9mm is 3.6gr of powder and it works great.

There is a standard insert for both pistol and rifle, not interchangable. Same goes for the micro ones.
The AP kit comes with both, the classic kit only has the rifle rotor. The rifle one will not work very well for pistol. Order it from site sponsors or the US as I did.
