So I've had my Lux model for close to a year now but the bolt seems to be rough and even sticky at times. Is there anything I can do to smooth it out and make it function slicker? I've put probably 3000-4000 rounds through it I'm guessing.

Gun inspected for any contents of ammo, :D , remove bolt, de grease chamber and bolt, apply toothpaste to the bolt body , mid way all the way round(center), then work it baby , lots , don't get any in the chamber , plug it with a piece of rag or tissue. It will get warm , and polish all rough areas, and leave a smooth tough polished surface. After thats done , clean it up, re lube.

You could use something like aluminum wheel polish as well. Toothpaste is probably milder though. Make sure you get the locking lugs too and clean it all out completely when you are done.

What , don't go messen around, rubbing alchol, then toothpaste. ;)
And if you clean it up with water after, tear the bolt down, then spray wd-40 or some other water displacing lube in there everywhere, to make certain no water is trapped.

Well it seemed to work fairly well. Getting the toothpaste of out the rifle was tedious however.

Hey Dave,
I hope you saved that used toothpaste. You can use it you know, You might end up like your Avitar though.:)
