Round action sxs

crunch68, have you ever looked at Tony Galazan's RBL? (stands for round-action boxlock, I believe). Tony runs a small, high quality shop called Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company, or CSMC.

Not inexpensive, but nice guns.

They have a very nice website with lots of pics of their fine shotguns.

I also do believe this is the same outfit that currently is in a partnership with another local company, that produces all brass 10 gauge hulls in the USA.

Cheapest and great round action sxs is model 24 by Winchester.
I just love that gun.End up paying less than 300 for mine in pretty beat up condition but great for ducks, rabbits and such.
Not really rounded but somewhat semi rounded, still great little gun for cheap price compared to some others

Sounds familiar... check post #12!

Yes man
I usually dont read all three or four pages of comments,
Usually after a while topic change its direction so first page or so does it for me before posting.
Hopefully i did not offend you, just try to give the guy my two cents.

BTW what gauge you were shooting when kicked like a mule?
I have 16GA in model 24 and 37 but love them and so easy to point and aim

No offence taken... just pointing out that we have the same opinion

Mine was a 12 gauge. I think the stock may have been shortened.. but I typically like a short LOP and it wasn't as short as the Baikal I have.

I really don't know what the cause was.. minor differences in the stock dimensions perhaps? But man - I would get a ringing headache after shooting just a few rounds. Sad to see it go (and I probably should have got more out of it) but it just wasn't for me. Hopefully the new owner gets good use out of it.
