Now that the year is basically finished, those who keep track of how much you shoot, how much did you shoot?

12.8K total rounds this year for me.

2K 9MM
31 .308

Including letting others shoot my stuff, not including anything I have shot of others firearms.

but I'm making a resolution to keep track in 2012.

I lost track of "for work" shooting, but I know I fired 150 .40 and 110 .223 for fun.
Next year is gonna be MUCH higher.

In 8 months, from April 22nd (2011) through December 22nd (2011), the log says 4280 rounds of .223 down range through one of my Swiss rifles

Since getting the NEA-15 in early November Ive put exactly 520 rounds through the pipe. Probably 100-odd 12ga, and that's all I've got right now.

Not much of a year, but then I didn't get out as much as I would have liked, and I didn't own an AR for 6 months of the year (fixing that as we speak).

And I never got out hunting ... I usually shoot at least 100 .308 prior to deer season and at least an extra 200 bird shot and turkey loads in prep for those seasons. I have a thing about knowing exactly what my guns will do at different distances and with different loads.

I plan on doing more hunting this year and I also plan on taking a couple of courses myself in order to bring it to those who want courses up here.

It was a slow year.. too much teaching, not enough shooting!
