Scapa Flow, 1919.

Below is an old add from either Lever (Vancouver), Districorp (Montreal) or Century Arms (Montreal).

Here is the HMS Canada (aka Alimirante Latorre)

I have had 3....I still have one with matching bayonet.

Cool piece of history.

It's interesting that by virtue of having been in Chilean Navy service, it's now correct for the sight hoods to be on backwards. Since they all seem to be like that, it's actually correct for the type. It's a distinct variant.

Beautiful rifle. Your front sight hood is on backwards just so you know.

Case colors on that bolt are stunning. I'd love to have one this nice some day.

Not really sure about that sight guard being on backwards. My original "Ross Rifle Handbook 1907" has a drawing and a photo that both show the sight guard with the slope to the rear, which does follow the slanted line of the front sight block.

It would be interesting to know if anyone else has an original manual showing it placed with the slope to the front.

... and yes that is one pretty rifle. Well done!
