RPAL Course vs. RPAL Licence?

its better to send in your application without the stamped results so you atleast get the 28day clock moving; instead of waiting 4-6 weeks for the results and then adding on another 28 days
 
Please make sure (if you have a middle name) to print your middle name in full on the test results and application or else this will add additional delay! It happened to my Relative.
 
Don't send the actual stamped tests just send photo copies and keep the originals safe at home. It would be a shame to loose them in the mail after already waiting soo long.

I was provided with two original blue stamped result documents therefore I mailed one in, kept the other and made some copies.

Same here, I got two copies of both my un-restricted and restricted result. I'll just mail one set out and keep the other one for safe keeping.
 
Great to hear boys, glad to hear that you can send both the test and app. together. Makes sense to get the ball rolling.
 
"...thought I'd exit the course with the RPAL in hand..." Nope. The course is just that. Just like a Hunter's Safety course, it allows you to apply for the licence.
The Ontario CPFO insisting the instructors mail in your results is another way of discouraging new shooters.
"...were taught by an FO..." Certified instructor.
