I have passed my CFSC and CRFSC course, and I was filling up my papers to get my RPAL, and I was wondering if I could put a family member in my references?

Also, I don't have a proof anymore of my sucessful CFSC course, will this delay the process.
 
Yes, you can use family members for your references. And unfortunately yes, not having proof of completing your safety course is going to delay the process. Could you get a copy of successfully completing your course from where / who you took it from?
 
are you sure you dont have it anymore? or you just never had it? it's not the receipt you get after you pay, it's a letter sent by the CFO about a week or two after you pass the exam

out west there is no letter from the CFO!

if you do not have it, check with your instructor. he might have it. i know i have over 10 years worth and at least once a year i have to find someone's even after i tell them to keep a copy with their important papers.
 
I used to have it, back in 2002 I was 14 and I took the course to go hunting with my dad, and with time I must of lost it. I will try to find a proof back. But I have a hunting card, issued by the Québec government after I passed the course, and on the card there is a F & L code, and when you check underneath, the F means you can go hunting with a firearm(doesn't help me), but the L means that you have pass the CFSC course..

Could this still be a good proof?

C'est bon pour le possession et acquisition d'armes non-restreintes, pour le permis d'acquisition d'armes à autorisation restreinte (RPAL) il va te falloir une lettre attestant ta réussite...
Moi c'était une lettre signée d'Info Sécure (institut de formation pour la sécurité dans la nature) je sais pas si c'est la même lettre partout où tu prends le cours (je serais prêt à dire que oui) et il te la faut pour faire ta demande de permis d'armes à autorisation restreinte.

Voici le numero d'info sécure, ils ont peut-être encore ton dossier

Merci charles.emond, j'ai la lettre signé d'Info-Sécure (j'ai oublier de le mentionner), donc je devrais être correcte pour avoir mon permis non-restreint et restreint!
 
ouep tout est en ordre, envoie une photocopie de la lettre, garde l'originale...
envoie aussi une photocopie de ton certificat du chasseur(c'est ça la preuve que tu as reussi le cours normal), les deux cotés
