RPAL test pointers!

My instructor, who was fantastic, tried a little trick on us.

After declaring the "safe direction" in the room he left the pistol case open at the pretend firing line. The trick was that the case was left at an angle where the pistol would have to point out of the safe zone to fit inside. We had to turn the case first THEN put the pistol in and secure it. He had done this during the instruction period too so it wasn't a dirty trick.

Now when I go to the range I make sure my firearms are facing a certain direction in the case based on which way I plan to open it on the bench there.
