There are plenty of things wrong with the Firearms Act, one of them being that there is no time limit for a review to be conducted. They could literally sit on this forever and that'd be it... No RPD...

Someone with the sufficient interest could take action against the RCMP to force them to make a decision they are required to take under the law.

Not just "sufficient interest", but FINANCIAL RESOURCES! And that's just another thing wrong with our 'system'. We should not have to force them to do the job they are supposed to do!
