RPD Update.

I may EE my Polish RPD after I receive it and put some rounds down range. And it will be for more than I paid so start complaining now.

Here's a pic just because. Never seen a carry handle thingy on an RPD before, must be homemade. The handle position doesn't look practical considering where the guns weight center would be.

Maybe not used as a carry handle, rather as a front grip.

that is not very fair considering arms east has said any future rpds from them will be considerably more money if they even get any

Turns out the handle is from a PKM, adapted to fit an RPD. And yes, a front handle /grip for shooting from the hip.

Well I'm almost done making an RPD using a hand drill and hand files. I started building as soon as this thread began in order to see who would be first.

I'm sure some of the people who've been on the waiting list since January will be willing to pay whatever supply and demand dictates, either to a fellow Canadian who beat them to the punch or for a US import.

currently there is no supply so the price to possibly own one has to be worth something pretty good.

Any other make of RPD will need its own FRT so good luck to anyone trying to finding more of the same guns to import yourself after. These were built prior to the barrel ban.
