Not this stock. The safety is in a different place compared to regular Mossberg shotguns. This stock covers that original thumb safety position.

The AR safety location makes more sense for a pistol grip 590.
The tang works well with the magpul stocks and traditional units but I've never really liked that setup with a pistol grip.
