Waiting for my Rock River Arms A4 10.5 inch SBR in 5.56 to be delivered.

Has anyone had any experience with these or similar short rifles?

Yesterday I finally got out to the range to put my first rounds through my new spikes tactical 10.5 and all I can say is wow with a giant smile on my face. I need to get out to the range again ASAP 40 rounds wasnt enough.

I have a 10.25". They are handy, fun little carbines.

They aren't terribly loud if you don't use a brake. An A2 FH or something like Dlask's XB1 or their new XB5 that help to redirect blast forward of the firing line are good additions to your rifle.

Here's a vid I did with the XB5 on my rifle...

Hahaha no, I had 500, I only had half hour before the range closed so between my glock, my spider, and my friends garand I didn't have enough time to break it in the way I wanted to.

Received the rifle today and took it out to the range to sight it in.
Very tight, solid piece. Trigger is heavy but breaks clean and crisp like a glass rod.
60 rounds without a hiccup.

I like this gun!

Went to the range for the second time today to shoot the RRA SBR at 100 meters.

I was able to put all shots into the head of an IDPA target at 100 yards, using my non-magnified Eotech holographic sight.

Very happy with those results from a 10.5 inch barrel with 55 grain PMC FMJ-BT.

It does the job it was designed to do and does it well.

I am very happy with the purchase!

Went to the range for the third time.
Shot 55 grain PMC Bronze and 62 Grain Fusion hunting ammo. Both shot to point of aim and grouped nicely and I was able to put all the rounds I tried into the head of an IDPA target at 100 yards with my Eotech sight.

Best quote from another shooter at my range:

"Is that thing even legal?"

Most fun you can have with your pants on.

I love this gun!
