yes.

I have yet to see anything you cant do with them that you can do with the standard ones, except add a urinal................I beter copyright that, now that is out there it will be next, like the AI with the beer holder on the side.

the pistol lowers are mostly an american thing . as you can have a ar15 in the states as a pistol, you CAN NOT put a stock on it in the states to keep it as a pistol, so you have the basic buffer tube that just hangs there , also the lower has to be labeled with PISTOL ONLY, up here ,if you have the pistol lower marked "pistol" it will be registered as a pistol, though we are allowed to have butt stocks on our pistols here, as it wouldnt change its classification anyway, they are a typical ar lower, theres no difference mechanically or physically between the 2 , just that the pistol one says "PISTOL" on it

at least that is how i have read it,
correct me if im wrong.

Well, registered as a pistol it would be subject to a 106mm minimum barrel length, while registered as a rifle it technically isn't (if you do meet someone with a 106mm AR barrel at the range, RUN don't walk to get your ear defenders)

LOL, ya i dont think you will ever see a less than 106mm barrel on a AR, that would be ,, in my best balki bartokomous, " that be redicurus "

but basically, its an american thing,

rra pistol

100% compatible, i just drop the mag block on my 9mm ar pistol and put on a 223 upper and let er rip:50cal: nice part is since it is reg as a pistol i can shoot it on the pistol range:D in 9mm config
cueball

My LMT Defender MRP upper does not fit a RRA pistol lower.
Either the front pin will go in or the back pin but not both at the same time.

The RRA 7" pistol upper will however, fit a LMT lower.

Oh and I have the Questar $89 - M4 Style 6 position Collapsable Buttstock Kit on the RRA Pistol.

just for sh*ts and giggles.
