Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy my first AR-15. I will use it mostly just to have fun but also for IPSC three/two guns match. I'm looking for a 16 inch barrel and a flat top receiver. After doing some researches, I ended up looking for two differents AR. First one, Rock River Arms Elite CAR A4 with the 16 inch chrome-lined barrel and flat top receiver. Second one, Stag Arms Model 2R, also with a 16 inch barrel and a flat top receiver. I have heard a lot of good things about both of them and the price is pretty much the same(1379$ for the RRA and 1385$ for the Stag). I've read that Stag has better barrel that's why I want the 16 inch chrome-lined barrel on the RRA. I would like to buy an AR that I will be able to upgrade easily in the future, when I'll know more about the AR and when I'll find out what I like/dislike. But once again, those two can be easily upgraded.
So, my question is: Wich one should I go with(if you could explain why, I would appreciate it)?
Thanks for all,
JP.
