Interesting; now where have we seen that interrupted thread bolt head before...?

Next question, did M. Huot have one of these in mind when he converted his Ross Mk.III into the Huot automatic rifle?

Certainly looks a lot like a M-10 (MK III) Ross bolt head.

I don`t know if the Rsc mle 1917 influenced Huot.
But I was just thinking it`s a good thing the Huot came too late to be adopted, or we would have even less original MK III Rosses to go around.
