A couple of questions for Redleg or TSE maybe.

Been surfing trough the TSE price list and found out that there is 2 kind of RUAG 223 Ordnance, one is marked "for short barreled carbines"

What is the difference between the two, since they both carry a 63gr bullet.

Also do you carry the RUAG Action5 9mm ammo?

I cannot post a question in the TSE forum! only in existing thread.

I thought about sending a PM but I think the answer could be of interest to other members as well.

I'm going to go out on a limb, and guess that the ammunition intended for the shorter barrels has faster burning propellant.

Just a theory.

The ammo for short barrelled carbines is optimized for them. It provides maximum velocity, and accuracy without the large fireball and blast at the muzzle. It also allows the guns to operate at lower port pressure to maximize carbine life.
