I'm wondering if anyone still sells RUAG GP90 5.56 in Canada? Just picked up a Swiss Arms, and want to try the load that is apparently made for them.

You can still get RUAG 63gr. FMJ ammo - same ammo can, similar packaging, and the ammo looks the same with the exception of the headstamp. But for some reason it doesn't compare to the accuracy that GP90 displayed.

CSC as indicated by Tenguns. For the price, I would honestly recommend something else...handloading, PMC 62gr. Ball, or maybe wait out and see if IVI releases .223 for civilian sales...

I already have about 6 types of .223, ranging from 55 to 69gr. PMC, Federal, IVI, IMI, and Norc.

I was just looking for a box or two to do an ammo test. You might be right though, shipping in addition to a high ammo cost might be a dealbreaker.

I bought this ammo from TSE when it was available at the original great price and kept all of it for my own Swiss Arms rifles. It is the most ammo I have shot from my sniper version and found it to be very accurate and no none is for sale but if you can find some at a reasonable price buy all you can if you have a Swiss Arms. Phil.

PMC and IMI 62gr M855 is probably the closest you can get.

Ruag as an ammo maker also makes 55gr M193, 62gr M855/SS109 and 63gr GP90.
Places in the US were advertising the Ruag M193 last year and I was pretty jealous.
It was on the PE90 stripper clips no less.

I actually bought a thousand round case of GP90 from either P&D or Wolverine more than six years ago.
They had it on sale for some kind of one day special at either $300 or $350.
It was a crazy clear the floor kind of price and I wish now, that I spent my life savings on it then.

It's $210 for 200 rounds now.

I bought a K of the "out of spec" GP90 from TSE when they were selling it for $350 I believe it was. My AUG loved it (tells you how long ago that was). It's over a buck a bang now.

Auggie D.

Bit the bullet and picked some up. Will try to do an accuracy test sometime soon.

Anyone know if you can turn the gas system "off" with these? There isn't a retention notch, but it seems if you rotate the regulator 180 degrees it'll stay in there and won't cycle the bolt.

Just looking to keep the brass considering how much I paid for it.
