Anyone know where I can buy a rubber butt pad for the factory wood stock (not beaverbarf). Whether it be from a 3rd party or original.. or is EE my only hope?

Is there any difference in the rubber butt pad for the beaverbarf buttstock and the factory wood rubber butt pad?

anybody sell thicker ones to increase length, or to slightly comp for recoil?

I dont really know if I described the piece im missing... if I were to put the wood up to my shoulder right now it would dig in because there is a cut out of the wood for some sort of buttplate. It looks really messed up without it (very obvious on the gun, something is missing). I can post pics now, but I'm sure people out there know what part im talking about.

He has a buttplate of some kind.
 
Are you the fairy man? 7.62x39 has such little recoil in an 858 you could almost hold the stock to your balls when you shoot.

This is like hunting with a 243 when 308 exists, you'd only do it to make the job harder or because you're a skinny hipster who can't handle even mild recoil.

Maybe he's like me, and would like a little bit more stock length. Go easy, dude!!

not a skinny hipster, i recently realized i could stand to lose a little bit of weight, Recoil isn't my reason for wanting this,. I need some sort of cover for the buttstock. for two reasons... I need the extra length to comfortably fit it on my shoulder, and it will look complete with a plate on.

Now back on track, is there a place to buy the metal buttplate then or am I confined to the EE? and thanks for the tip about the AK one, Ill try that if I can't locate one of the original plates.

Original Ak-74 rubber pad will fit no problem. There are air-soft copies that you can buy if they are the same dimensions I don't know
