rubber hogues on a 1911.. review?

I had them on my Colt Delta Elite now have VZ Grips on it...

Are you talking about the soft rubber, wrap-around style or the harder synthetic Hogue grip panels?

On the rubber wrap-around style, I don't care for them & find they don't fit my hand well. Some love 'em and put 'em on all their auto pistols.

For wrap around grips on a 1911 frame I prefer the Pachmayr wrap around without thumbswells:

On the harder grip panel style, I had a set of Hogues on a Norc commander I once had. They were 'okay' for shooting but I prefer wood grips panels:

Yeah, I should clairify - the wrap around - finger moulded type!

I use them on my Norinco 1911A1 and I really like them. They fit my hands well.

I have these. They are fine. Standard grips are fine too.
