Hey all I've got a bit of a cartridge collection going.
I've made metal tags to hold and label them individually.
I currently use small hair elastic bands although after a couple months they dry up and break.
So is there any glue or tape or better quality clear elastics I can use that wont damage the brass?

Your thread title demands a smart ass quip but I will refrain. :p

Cool collection. How about using a bit of Velcro?

Couldn't resist.

Silicone releases acetic acid when curing so it might turn them green at contact points. Hot glue might work OK or drill the metal holters and use some thin strands of copper wire.

I was thinking the hot glue thing, or you could use Sumo glue. Word of warning though, if you use Sumo glue you wonna be gettin them back offin the labels no mo'.

I shall also refrain from the smarta$$ed comment about broken rubbers.

Okay so I got some mini ties 4" x 0.094" wide x 0.035" thick.
Got my handgun cartridges done. They look alright, just not as unnoticeable as I had hoped. Although much better than finding a load on the floor from a broken rubber.

COME ON!!! ha:ha: you should be writing comedy for sitcoms!

i was gonna suggest a glue gun but fishing line would be your best bet..

even better, take apart some paracord and use the internal strands...super fine but you cant break them with your hands...
