RUGER ® NEW BEARCAT Malfunction

Hello

Ive recently bought RUGER ® NEW BEARCAT , had a chance today to shoot it for the first time..
After 20 rounds or so i notice the hammer would not pull back for me any longer , I took a closer look and notice the Transfer Bar was not sliding up because the Firing Pin was sticking out to far,

Before i rip this Revolver apart for farther inspection i was wondering if anyone else HERE has idea whats going on..

aside From this Malfunction the firearm shot well

Are you sure the cylinder rod was seated all the back? If the rod is not pushed all the way back it won't push the transfer bar back far enough to clear the firing pin.

09outlander, that's exactly what was wrong, This my first revolver and wasn't 100% sure on the mechanics.. Stiff cylinder rod I suppose i can edit the topic as "Operator Malfunction"

That was an easy fix. Don't you just love this forum and the guys on it ( at least most of them).
