Ruger #1 .303 Does the Deed

Ive been waiting for an ambush attempt this past week or so with the .303 since you buggers got me all hyped up on the Ruger 1 again!!

today it all came together-- il make story / video in due time-

sneaking around in leaf suit nice an early this evening, moving slowly thru the bush, spied some deer coming down to the pasture from a high ridge, so paralleled them breifly before setting up.

then a Hind and yearling came down, an thats when I said Yeppp.




i rekon a good 80 meters even maybe close to 100, open sighted

Right on, did that Stag only have 1 horn? I assume August=March in the Northern Hemisphere.

Do they shed their horns over a period of a month-6 weeks (like Elk) or are some in hard antler all year?
