Ruger #1 7x57

Recently I made up a 7x57 from a used 243
I got a stripped 22" factory new barrel from Numrich.

The Alex Henry forearm was hard to find so
had to send the rifle to Quebec to have one factory fitted. All the rest of the parts I got from Brownell, like the barrel band, the quarter rib, the rear and front iron sights.
It toke a long time to round up all the pieces.

But the effort was well worth it, since this rifle is deadly accurate with 139gr Hornady Interlocks.

The rifle has a 6x Burris with a rear extension ring.

The 26" 243 barrel will be milled octagon, rebored to either 257 or 6.5 with a suitable chamber in either 257AI or 6.5x284 to turn
the 7x57 into a switch barrel rifle complete with its own forearm.
