We are still in contact with Ruger to make this project a reality. What we really want is 100 units made with our NZ walnut blanks (we have over 100 non exhibition blanks on the way here)
We are getting a warm feeling about the .275 Rigby but apparently the use of our wood may be less likely. However, Ruger has not said 'no' :)
They are working on a stainless walnut 250 Savage right now but I hope that, once they are complete, we may get this project done just like we did with the 303 Brit rifles. BTW, we are out of those again but have now sold 167 :)
let me know if you are interested in one of the 275 Rigby rifles(of course, this is just the British name for the 7mm Mauser/ 7X57)

I'm still interested Clay, but would prefer the .275 get a longer barrel than the .303 British No.1. Love my .303 but dont need a twin.
Cheers
Geoff

We had the same issue with the 303 Brits, people wanting different configuarations. I've thought of having a 1-S built but that may be a little big for a 7mm Mauser? We'll see what they will do :)

would have to wait to see pricing and final model settled on but i am interested I planned on building on one day with an octagon barrel.

Stupid question (I should know the answer to this), but are the 7X57 and the 275Rigby exactly the same chamber?
