303 British, taken 2 kinds of deer and a grizzly at 13 yards. Remington 180 grainers, only thing I had to shoot at twice was this muley that I missed with the first shot at embarrassingly close range.

Moose with a #1B Ruger [Originally a 30-06, but now a 308 Norma Magnum] 210 grain LRAB at 2950+ deadly. Dave.

This one was accounted for with a 160gr TSX, 7x57.

I have taken a staggering amount of game with my #1's from 257 R to .458WM and not a single picture was ever taken.

Ruger No#1, chambered in the 300 H&H. Reloaded ammo, 150 gr. Nosler Accubonds, Reloder 25. Shot distance was 489 paces.

I inherited one with very cool lineage, and what makes it even more special to me is that it has also taken a bunch of game from sheep to bear, deer to small game and everything in between which I heard the stories of growing up. But like Bunny suggested, very few carried a camera in those days.

I think I’ve shot every big game species you can hunt is Saskatchewan with a 1B in .270 weatherby. Sorry, no pics. Not sure why but I don’t include a weapon in field pictures.

200gr Hornady Interlock, old version with the metal clips on the corners of the box. It seems to like that weight best, tried some FTX in 200 perfect for deer. Never needed a second shot, but I don’t hunt with it where the range is over 100 yards.
