Any owners on here that have had a number 1? I'm Inerested in rough out of box accuracy. I have a cz 527 varmint. I wouldn't want to lose the accuracy of the cz, but the large clip does hurt when going on hikes. Any thoughts?

I have that exact model, shoots the same as Artic’s. .5 inch groups with 32gr and 8208 will also shoot 40gr v-max with Varget at .75 inch

If you are looking for a guarantee, there is none. Every rifle is an individual, you can get a lemon with even the best rifles. I have owned and shot dozens of No.1's and they have all been reasonably to very accurate. I have also owned dozens of CZ rifles and they were pretty accurate too... bottom line, if you like the configuration you have to put down your money and give it a try.

No.1s seem to shoot better in smaller bores and heavier barrels, my .218 Bee No.1B and .22-250 1V were my most accurate. The bigger bores tend to walk more in my experience with the No.1 as the barrel warms up. I’d bet the .204 No.1s in general should be near the top of the heap, rigid barrel with all that steel in it around a little 5mm hole.
