Ruger #1 scope mount

Has anyone mounted one of these on a Ruger #1.If so what did you use for a base?

It has weaver type mount

Looks like your going to need a blank weaver base and drill and tap the barrel
or remove scope mount base and use exsisting holes.
I have one simular mounted on my 50AK Ruger #3

My Ruger #1 Tropical had integral bases ie. the rings (Ruger) fit right on the rifle. I found the low bases to be too lo and had to buy mediums after.

Yes that,s the problen this scope has weaver type rings built into it so it won't fit on the ruger base.
