For the next CGN special edition, how about a Ruger #1-A in 7X57 but the data stamp saying "275 Rigby"?
Sounds like an order of as little as 50 will get it done.
Also, Ruger is considering building a run of the 308 Scout without the flash suppressor for the Canadian market.
Back soon fron SHOT and will get to those emails!!

You mean this one? Silly question, why without the flash hinder?

so ruger will do any special run of #1's with as little as 50 pre-sold?
how about a 356 win, or 404 jeffery?

Grit - they already have a 1-A in 7x57 on the production line - the .275 Rigby marking is the only difference.

That 7x57 in a 1-A sounds nice. The one thing that I really don't like about the 1-A is the Alexander Henry fore-end. I wish they would do something more in the old British style, like this:

A little off topic, but it sure is nice to see some of the classic cartridges being chambered again - .250 Savage, .257 Roberts, .300 Savage (although it looks like it was dropped :( ), .303 British, .30-40 Krag, .300 H&H, 9.3x74, .450/400 NE.

.275 Ruger.

Hummmmm...I find myself needing one. Even more though, I wish Winchester would chamber their M70 Super Grade and/or Featherweight in 7X57/.275 Rigby. How about a Jack and Eleanor O'Connor commemorative pair in .270 and 7X57. Now THAT I'd go for.
Cheers
Geoff

Why would it take a special run? Can't they just include a thread protector instead if the FH? Or is the threaded barrel also a no-no?
