Ruger #1

The only one I've heard of was a special order run for Lipsey's, a rifle retailer in the USA. If I remember correctly it was the #1A, in stainless steel.
A couple of Rugers #1 models are sightless, #1B is the standard, and the #1V is a heavy barrel varminter.

As Longwalker says the limited edition Lipsey's model is the only 6.5 X 55 No.1.

I think Ruger is really missing out by not making this caliber. I'd be first in line for a standard wood & blue model.

I got a 1A in 6.5x55 recently. It's a nice gun I just wish it had the laminate instead of the walnut. Clay at Prophet River hooked me up with it.

if I see ANY No.1's for $500, I grab them right away, and I can tell you after buying and selling them for over 20 years, there are not a lot that come up for sale for that price anymore!!

Welcome to the site, Bill. I always have both eyes wide open looking for Ruger No.1's. I don't think you will ever find one at that price, not an advertised one, anyway. You may get lucky and stubble upon one somewhere out there in the wild, though. If you do, jump on it without hesitation!
