Ruger 10-22 action screw??

What is the proper size replacement action screw for a standard ruger 10-22. I am going to have a hex head made up and need to know the tpi and length.

whole lot cheaper to go to your local fastenal store... they carry socket head screws for them... 12-24 pitch.

Your local fastener store will most likely not have the screw you are looking for. 12-24 x 1" long, best bet is to buy one, unless you want to buy a box of 100. Then you need a lathe to properly machine it so it fits the rifle. PM me and I'll sell you one as I make them. Later.

I ordered 6 from my local Fastenal store.
They cost me .85 cents each, but had to be ordered.
I picked them up 2 days later and the package had 10 in it for the same cost.
