i just got my PAL and wanted to get a rifle and a pistol. i was wondering if anyone knew if and where i could get an archangel kit for the 10/22 and charger. i want to get a 10/22 at al flaherty's or bass pro and then mod it into an archangel. or i might just get a sr-22 but its more expensive and already pre built. i wanted to do the same thing with a charger, get an archangle kit and basically turn it into a tec 9 kinda thing. if anyone has any comments or suggetions, especially in regards to getting the archangle kit and whether its legal, etc. please let me know.
thanks

I have a comment...

You say you just got your PAL, and yet you want pistols (such as a charger). Unless you miss-typed you can't legally own pistols until you acquire your RPAL.

As to the rifle end of it, I highly suggest the SR-22 over the 10/22 with archangle kit. Its just a better product all around. A good sturdy beefy gun. I just picked mine up a few weeks ago and have been loving it ever since.

I also recommend stopping by hical.ca for some goodies they got LOTS of choices.

Here's my rig.

Happy Hunting! :D

thanks for the comment. yes you are right 1)i did get the restricted portion too.
2) i have also heard that the sr22 is better because unlike the archangle its is not plastic.
however i really want to go through the process of rebuilding the 10/22 into a archanagle whereas the sr22 is more or less alreday made.
anyway thanks for the feedback and if you have any other comments please let me know.

so you guys have both the archangle kits for the 10/22 and the charger??? also where in canada are you located. i live in toronto. also do you carry the charger. i know that al flaherty's and bass pro have 10/22 i dont know anywhewre to get the charger??? also do you carry any kel-tec??preferab;ly the plr22??
thanks for the feedback

thanks for the well wishes. ya the charger is bad ass and since its rimfire you can basically have a legal machine pistol kinda thing. especially with the 50round mags. have you shot a lot of rounds through the 50. i know a guy at my gun range who has a 10/22 and said that he only does the 25 round ones because the 50's are cheat and break easy. any comments????

I picked up a charger a few weeks ago and got the archangel pistol stock for it as well as a 10/22 50rd drum another 50rd mag. it looks pretty sweet. im planning on putting a shorter barrel from dlask on it soon too. not sure how short i want to go yet... since its registered as a pistol i can go as short as 4.2" but not sure if i want it that short. i will post some pics once i have it done.

good luck on your project.
where did you get the charger, and how much. also is it considered non-restricted or restricted????lastly where did you get the archangle charger kit and was it diffucult to assemble???please let me know, thanks.

Fact is, the SR(Nordic) is a kit just the same as the archangel or any other kit. You will insert/remove the "10/22" from the chassis every time you clean it just like any other.
Troy's coming out with a new kit that looks pretty cool
