Ruger 10 22 carbine barrel needed

Hey all

I recently was given a Ruger 10 22 carbine, serial starts with 125 making it a '84-'85ish. It has a bulge about 4" from the end on the inside of the barrel. At any rate I need a new barrel.

I'm located in the Fraser Valley of BC and am hoping I can get some advice on tracking one down without being gouged. I'm thinking I likely can't import a barrel out of the states myself. Stocks and add-ons are ok but I think I may be harassed at the boarder and don't need the hassle.

Any advice or sources would be greatly appreciated.

Some factory barrels on the ee most of the time. Dlask is in bc and makes heavy barrels in different lengths

I got a lightly used stainless barrel without sights, painted with krylon if you want it. Hit up the EE, theres always tons of them on there cheap from other people's builds.

Sorry it's so slight that it'd be hardly noticeable on a pic. Only slightly visible to the eye. Tell ya though it sure is noticeable looking in the bore and especially shoving a patch through it

Drive down to Wholesale Sports in Langley, they'll probably have a replacement barrel in stock (ButlerCreek)...

There will be no shortage of reasonably priced, like new carbine barrels for sale on the EE.

you guys are going to FREAK, but I'll ask anyway as I have thick skin because of some of you. If you buy say a 12" barrel, you can install it on your 10/22 and it's still non-restricted correct?

That is correct It'll be a little loud though. lol

I believe the overall length must be at least 26 inches if memory serves. Joe Dlask can help you out with that though.

Wanstalls sells Tactical Solutions 10/22 barrels too.

Believe it or not Wholesale in Langley told me they have no barrels at all of any sort in stock.
