Hey, I'm thinking my 10/22 is too small for me, length wise. I'm thinking a stock with a longer butt might be the solution, perhaps the only solution. How do I search for a stock with a longer butt? I've searched for "full size" stocks, with really no luck. I don't know if the manufacturers definition of "full size" is the same size as stock, or is the over length greater then stock?

I think your after "LOP" or Length of Pull IIRC. It's basically a measurement taken to determine what size of stock will fit you properly.

Rest assured, there is no shortage of 10/22 aftermarket stocks to choose from.

just install a thick shotgun butpad and that will give u a longer stock and
cheaper than a new stock.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm 6'4, and to use the irons, I hold the gun loosely floating in space, about 5 inches from my shoulder. My face would be on the barrel, if I tried to hold it like my full-size rifles. I can get away with such a sloppy hold using the red-dot sight, but like I say, the irons are pretty much useless with this stock for me. Any ideas on a specific stock that has a longer length of pull?

Im 6'7... The Predator Gun Stocks that we could get from Hawktecharms always work for me...

The T-Rex one fits me like a glove, even though I hate the pistol grip type grip. The Mantis was good as well....

Right now I'm going to be using the Evolution stocks from Barry at Bits of Pieces... The Explorer is what I'm building my next one with...

On his site he has stocks that would fit what your looking for... I find with those stocks the trigger seems to be in just the right spot way better then the stock stock.. im 6ft 4 as well and I looked at the stocks and noticed they fit nice..

Yukon and Yukon Extreme are the same but the extreme cut out more so it looks cooler
