three of the cheapest and most simple mods you can do to a 10-22 carbine are having the bolt faced to 42 thou,a good crown and removing the barrel band. i have 8 10-22 rifles and have found that those simple things double the accuracy of a stock carbine.two of my 10-22s have walnut carbine stocks that have been reworked to the style of the 10-22 rifle (20 inch bbl) and they are both able to print .750 with hunting amma (cci velocitor,ww power points)
