Looking at buying a 10/22 compact 16"bbl, and was wondering if it was as accurate as a carbine with the 18.5"bbl ? Since the sights are closer together, its probably not as accurate, but it does come with fiber optic sights, which might help with aiming.
If both the carbine 18.5"bbl vs the compact 16"bbl were equipped with identical scopes, does anyone have any idea if one is more accurate than the other, or is the accuracy very similar with no real difference ?
I would love to hear from any guys out there that have both a carbine & a compact, and have experience shooting both, to see how the accuracy compares between the 2 models ?
If the compact is less accurate than a carbine, if they are both equally scoped, then I will likely pass on the compact, and buy a stainless/synthetic or regular carbine.
